Knockroon - be part of something special

The purchase of Dumfries House and Estate for the nation, by a consortium led by HRH the Prince of Wales, or the Duke of Rothesay as he is known in Scotland, has created an opportunity for the regeneration of Cumnock and its neighbouring towns and villages.

Both Dumfries House and Knockroon, the sustainable community being constructed nearby, are developing close links with local schools to ensure that local young people benefit from them.

Knockroon developers, Hope Homes, are working alongside the Prince’s Charities and Dumfries House to form long-term connections to local schools.
