The award winning social enterprise company, youth initiative, childcare and training provider based in Cumnock in East Ayrshire, providing a wide range of activities for children and young people on a daily basis from out of school care to senior drop-in. Funding is provided by the East Ayrshire Community Planning Partnership Fairer Scotland Fund.

CAOS (Cumnock Acoustic Open Stage)

If you enjoy singing and playing music CAOS can help you gain experience and confidence in performing.

The group meet on Friday evenings 8.00-late in Cumnock Rugby Club. The sessions are for anyone aged 14 - adults who like to perform music.

East Ayrshire Youth Theatre

A drama group for 8-14 year olds.

Age group 8-11 meets every Monday within the Cumnock Town Hall from 4.30pm - 6.30pm, excluding school holidays. The group work towards a final production which is performed within the Palace Theatre Kilmarnock. Previous performances have included 'Oliver' and 'Little Shop of Horrors'.

Age group 12-14 meet every Tuesday in the Cumnock Town hall from 4.30pm - 6.30pm again excluding the school holidays. This older group work towards a devised piece of original theatre. Throughout the sessions they share and explore ideas and themes which all then contribute into the making of an original piece of drama.

This is a great opportunity for children to come and be involved in the arts, and to make new friends. On a personal level EAYT helps to build upon the social skills of all the youngster's involved.

Cumnock and District Camera Club

The camera club meets every Wednesday evening between 7.00pm and 9.30 pm at Cumnock Academy. Cost is £1.50 per night plus an annual fee of £15/£10 concession or £5 school children.

The club is open to people of all ages and is a fun loving group. Come and learn how to improve your photography, enhance your prints and listen to speakers as well as take part in competitions.

Cumnock & District Angling Association

The Association, formed in 1919 gives members the opportunity to fish parts of the Lugar and Glaisnock waters as well as Borland Reservoirs. Borland Reservoirs is a fishery run by members of Cumnock & District Angling Association on a voluntary basis for the benefit of the association and its members.

Memberships at £25 +joining fee of £10 are available as are visitors day tickets, at £12 for 2 fish then catch and release, c/r only ticket £8 at the Reservoir on the day.

The fishery is a Trout Masters fishery, is affiliated to SANNA and is a member of East Ayrshire Lochwatch.

The fishery is situated 1 mile South of Cumnock on the A76 Kilmarnock-Dumfries road. Enquiries to William Menzies 07958279740

1st Cumnock Boys Brigade

Formed in 1961, 1st Cumnock Boys Brigade meet in BB Hall, Millbank, Cumnock.  Anchor Boys (P2 & P3) and Junior Section (P4-P6) meet on Monday evenings with the Senior Section (P7-S6) meeting on Fridays.  Email bb@cumnockcongregationalchurch.com to find out more.
