Travel by Rail
The train station in Auchinleck is less than a mile from Knockroon and has free parking on site.
National Rail encourages the integrated use of cycles and trains - two convenient and environmentally friendly forms of transport and accompanied bicycles are carried free on most services.
Auchinleck station lies on the Glasgow to Newcastle line with 10 trains stopping at the station per day in each direction.

Travel by Bus
Knockroon will have its own bus stop to allow residents to use the excellent bus service. Around 6 buses per hour will pass through the community travelling to Ayr, Kilmarnock, Glasgow and beyond. Travel by Car
Knockroon is an excellent base for travelling by road to many different destinations throughout the UK. Less than 5 minutes’ drive from Knockroon and you meet the A76, giving links north to Glasgow in only 55 minutes and Edinburgh in well under 2 hours.
Travelling south? Just over 30 minutes’ drive and you join the M74 at junction 12, giving endless possibilities of destinations to discover and explore. Both Ayr and Kilmarnock are less than 30 minutes drive from Knockroon.
